Dre Levant works in abstract—playful, exploratory, horrifying. They are a writer and a visual artist, a libra moon & rising. Their work by turns examines the horror of existing in a body, queerness, and religious trauma - often through the lens of whimsy and theatricality.Author of the poetry chapbooks icarus rising, sun eater, jack invites werewolves to the tea party, as well as the poetry and visual art hybrid, unholy fruit. Forthcoming is their first poetry chapbook in almost three solar cycles, an experimental and unnerving small collection titled Meat Glue, due out in July 2026 from dogleech books.Dre is the the driving force (read: one-man show) behind the queer gothic publication moth eaten mag & its chapbook imprint, dogleech books.
